Men have accepted the challenge of staying in fashion. Gone are the days when women dominate the fashion scene, and men were just in the sidelines. Now, men have become more aggressive in finding their identity and expressing their style. Men are bold enough to recognize that wearing a tie is not enough and blending colors are no longer the ultimate rule. Traditional fashion will tell us that men in their formal suits must wear a leather-band watch or no watch at all. Times have changed, and the metals have asserted their place in this ever dynamic world of men’s fashion.

One does not need to be married to wear a ring. The early Victorian pieces of Gold jewelry were all 18K to 22K. The Stamp Act of 1854, made gold content to be standardized at 9K, 12K, or 15K and required the pieces to be stamped and hallmarked. Some other popular metals of that period included silver backed by gold and rolled gold plate, as well as silver alone. The seed was planted and sprouting, and eventually this grew and spawned a new era with an Art Nouveau period to launch the new century.

diamond is girl’s friend

I’m pretty sure most of us are familiar with the popular lyrics, “diamonds are a girl’s best friend”. It comes from the song which was most famously performed by Marilyn Monroe in the 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes . It is clear and very known that a diamond is the ultimate gemstone, having few weaknesses and many strengths. If the saying is true and diamonds really are a girl’s best friend, then why do people find it abnormal if a woman desires to buy herself a pearl necklace, a dainty diamond bracelet, or a ring?
Clearly most women would prefer for the man of their dreams to add masses of “bling” to her jewelry chest, but what if he’s an inept gift giver or what if “he” is simply just nonexistent for the time being? Why is it an issue if a successful woman decides that this Christmas she is going to buy herself a beautiful heart pendant? What about a 14k white gold diamond tennis bracelet, is that too “pathetic” of her? Are diamonds only synonyms with love and romance or can they stand for something else?
Any girl who get one ring which she’s always dreaming for would be crazy and scream to show her happiness.
The diamond bought by a woman for herself will always be her best friend. But what about the diamond given to the woman by a man,he could be her heart.
