Remember that even though the best style might look expensive, there are ways that you can spice up your fashion sense for not nearly as much as you might think. For instance, you might want to get a good idea of what people are wearing by looking at the expensive sites and the name brand designs, and then see what types of clothes you can find at discount prices that are the same types of clothes at name brand prices. You’ll be surprised at how you can spice up your fashion by spending less money on things like plain t shirts and tank tops, and more money on the things that matter, like the over shirts and jackets. All of this you can easily accomplish by learning about the different types of fashion that are out there, and then using coupons to find those great deals on the specific types of clothing that you might be finding.

For many people, it will become important to make sure that you can find a great deal on the specific types of clothing – but in today’s world, it is probably more important for you to look great without spending a lot of money in the process. For you to make sure that you can do this, check out the coupons that you are able to find. Most of the time, you can get clothing at a reduced rate. Sometimes, you’ll be able to find details like buy one, get one free, or buy one, get one half off. These are deals that you can use the coupons for, in order to make sure that you get a good deal. Often, you can go in with friends as well, and both of you can experience the wonderful deals that coupons can bring you. Don’t think that spicing up your wardrobe has to cost you a fortune.

Next, you will want to think about a cover-up that you can wear at the beach. You are going to need to have something that you can throw on casually when you aren’t in the water or relaxing in the sun. This should be something that is lightweight and easy for you to throw on, but that doesn’t mean that it has to be bulky and not fashionable. You can use coupons to find yourself a great cover up for a fraction of the cost, and you can use the money that you save to spend on beach goodies!

What about traditional Indian clothing?

“I feel like a business tycoon when I wear a business suit to an important meeting instead of the regular run-of-the-mill shirt and trouser. I feel more confident when I’m dressed well and my clients take me more seriously. And the best part of it is that clothes now longer cost a bomb. I can walk into a store and buy a stylish suit of the rack and not have to pay through my nose.”

What about traditional Indian clothing? Rohit answers, “When I wear a sherwani to a wedding, I can see the girls secretly eyeing me. They think of me as the new age Indian man who is modern but takes pride in being traditional”

Many other young men like Rohit enjoy dressing in traditional Indian clothes. Jodhpuris, achkans, sherwanis, churidar kurtas etc are now being introduced by leading fashion designers and fashion houses. They are tailored using rich fabrics and are embroidered heavily, making the wearer look elegant, classy and stylish. More and more Indian men are now looking forward to festivals, weddings and traditional ceremonies. Its giving them a chance to dress up and enjoy as much as much as their female counterparts.

Believe it or not, designing a hat takes a bit more work than you may think. In fact, the designing of a hat is a bit like sculpting a three dimensional sculpture, which is a bit different from most types of fashion design. Usually a pre-production sample of a hate is made before it is mass produced, and then this hat can be changed to fit the needs and wishes of designers and manufacturers alike.

Choosing your jewelry is no different

August 12th, 2010 Posted 8:41 am

Choosing your jewelry is no different than choosing your wardrobe. Most important is to stick within your comfort zone and your personal fashion style. That said it never hurts to step out of the box once in awhile. What’s most important is that your jewelry matches up with your outfit. Your jewelry is the finishing touch on your total look. Make your fashion statement count!

You need to determine what you want your jewelry to do. Do you want it front and center stage? Do you want it to compliment? Do you want it subtle? The occasion or event you’ll be wearing your jewelry to is also important - make certain it is fitting. A sexy oversized choker might be perfect for a night on the town but may not be fitting for the boardroom.

Indian fashion has a greedy, new customer these days. The Indian meterosexual. In other words, the young men who are dressing to impress, look good and get a cut above the rest.

Gone are the days when the only men who dressed to kill were film stars and models.

With a range of outfits that suit all styles, occasions and budgets now being available all over, Indian men are suddenly looking hotter.

Rohit Chavda, a 26-year old advertising executive now has a wardrobe that he says he loves to show off. Rohit’s wardrobe consists of a range of outfits right from formal business suits to sports jackets and pullovers and also several traditional outfits like achkans, jodhpuris, shewanis and churidar kurtas apart from his regular jeans, t-shirts and cotton trousers.

A fashion designer must not only be skilled in the manufacturing of clothing

A fashion designer must not only be skilled in the manufacturing of clothing – including knowledge of textiles and expertise in sewing – but also in sketching and drawing their designs. The savvy fashion designer understands color and how to use it to capture the essence of their design.

Becoming a fashion designer means attending a reputable school that teaches design, sewing, textiles, and the like. It is imperative that you learn the fundamentals of design before you add your own creativity and flair. Even more important, however, is the working knowledge that you can gain working as an intern or apprentice in an established shop. Working alongside a fashion designer who can give you firsthand experiences and help you build your portfolio is incredibly important to becoming a fashion designer. It’s all about experience. So take all that you can from school but put your skills to use – everywhere and anywhere that you can. A strong portfolio that demonstrates your talent and desire to work in the industry will go a long way to helping you realize your dream of becoming a fashion designer.

Although you may have a favorite designer. There’s really no need to stick with just one designer. In fact there’s no need for the pieces to actually be designer. There are plenty of wonderful pieces on the market that are unsigned but certainly make a fashion statement. Mix and match your jewelry to give it character and a little pizzaz!

Costume Jewelry, both signed and unsigned, is an affordable way to complete your look. Costume Jewelry can be bought for a low price and has plenty of life. Heck we see costume jewelry back to the 1920s still in excellent condition. What’s great with costume jewelry is you can use it, get tired of it, put it away or give it away and have still gotten good value for your money. Designer pieces tend to cost a little more, last a little longer, and they usually follow more traditional lines so you can wear them for more than one or two seasons.

The way we dress on a daily basis

When you dream as a child about what you want to be when you grow up, fashion designer ranks high on the list for many who envision a glamorous lifestyle and a chance to influence the way society dresses. Being a fashion designer certainly does come with its benefits; but it is also a career that requires a balance between creativity and skill.

We need only to turn on the television or flip the pages of a magazine to see how fashion influences our culture. The way we dress on a daily basis, the clothing we run to the stores to purchase, all depend on what’s popular on the runways. And what’s popular on the runways is created by fashion designers. A fashion designer creates a look and makes it happen. But what people don’t see, as models strut the runway wearing the latest designs, is the enormous amount of work and skill that it takes to get to that bright shining moment.

Sterling Silver is affordable and very versatile. If you don’t want to spend the money for sterling, then purchase some silver plate pieces. Silver is a must have to any wardrobe! You can go from dainty and delicate to large and noticeable. It can be dressed up or down and is acceptable for any event or occasion.

We always recommend have some gold plate or gold tone pieces in your wardrobe basics also. 10-14k gold may be a bit too pricey for many but gold plated jewelry is quite affordable and will give you good value for the cost. Gold like silver can be dressed up or dressed down and is perfect for a very classy look.

When purchasing rings you can have great fun - again the choices are endless from large and overwhelming to dainty and feminine. The length and size of your fingers plays an important role in what will look good. For example long skinny fingers don’t look good with huge oversized rings, yet a woman that has long thicker fingers they look exquisite. Long nails? Short nails? it all makes a difference. Play and see what you like what looks good. Also determine where you will be wearing these rings. For example if your working around fine fabrics you’ll not want any rins that have sharp edges that could snag. Your rings are also part of your total statement.

Designed from the same concept as sport bras

So what was it that changed my mind? I believe the answer lies in the hands of, well, a handful of people called ‘Trend Analysts’ AKA The Fashion Police. Their job: to serve and protect the commercial interests of fashion companies across the globe. How? By dissecting the public’s psychology of what will be the next trend will be by way of extensive travel and shopping expeditions (those bastards). These ‘trend analysts’ then report back to analysis companies, who then go on to consolidate their findings in industry magazines and websites for the use of fashion companies.

T-style bras

Designed from the same concept as sport bras, T-style bras stand guard over the larger hoods of trucks, SUVs, vans and minivans. Because these autos have raised hoods and significantly more vulnerable paint, T-style bras cover the leading edge and the center of the hood, stretching from front to back. They attach in much the same way as a sport bra and allow full hood access.

How much of your front end do you want to cover?

Each style and shape of car bra covers a different amount of the front end of your vehicle. The more paint your car bra covers, the more paint is protected. The less area the bra covers, the more your vehicle’s original looks can show through. It’s all a matter of personal preference.

Casually doing a bit of window shopping

August 5th, 2010 Posted 4:18 am

Casually doing a bit of window shopping a few years back in one of Italy’s ‘oh so fashionable’ little lane ways, I noticed that pointy toe stiletto’s were everywhere. Glancing down at my round toe Mary Jane’s I’d just purchased before leaving Australia, I was feeling both repulsed and anxious. Repulsed because I thought pointy toe stiletto’s were ugly, and anxious because I knew it was only a matter of time before I would be forking out the lire to purchase them. Two weeks later, I had succumbed. The trend had gotten the better of me, despite how ridiculous I looked when the heels got caught in the uneven Italian pavement every time I walked down the street (which was about every three steps).

To stop this process, car bras employ thick vinyl material for deflecting these airborne adversaries away from your vehicle’s finish. Small dings and scratches can’t get through your car bra’s outer layer, leaving your paint pristine.

Car bras protect your finish underneath the vinyl layer, too. They employ soft, paint-safe linings that pamper your vehicle and complete the network of protection over your front end. When installed properly, the quality protective outer layer, soft inner lining and custom-tailored fit ensure perfect front-end paint condition. You get like-new looks, boosted resale value and extra satisfaction with your vehicle.

Each type of car bra has its own unique set of upsides to choose from:

Full front end car bras

The original bra design is still overwhelmingly popular with today’s cars, trucks, SUVs, vans and minivans.

To find larger sized clothes

August 5th, 2010 Posted 4:15 am

Anytime you hit the road, your vehicle faces rocks, debris, bugs and many other enemies that are waiting to lay waste to your hood and grille. Safeguard your sensitive leading-end paint with a car bra, sometimes known as a car mask or front end mask, to:

- Preserve like-new paint
- Ensure resale value
- Eliminate worry from dings and dents
- Sport classic race-inspired looks that virtually scream speed

A guide to protecting your paint with a car bra

One of the best ways to protect your pet from the elements is to kit them out with specialty dog clothes designed to keep them warm. Like our own clothing, the materials used are designed for comfort and durability. Fleece, cotton and nylon are commonly used in the construction of doggie coats, capes, sweaters, shirts and boots. If you want keep your dog comfortable in cold weather you will need to purchase at the very least a coat or cape (to help retain body heat) and fleece lined nylon boots (to protect the feet from snow and cold). Almost any pet store will have dog apparel to suit most breeds. To find larger sized clothes (for breeds like the Greyhound) or specific brands and styles, you may have to search out an on-line store that carries these products.

Your vehicle’s front end is confronted by a barrage of attackers every day. Whether it’s tire-tossed rocks, flying debris or exploding bugs, your paint ends up bearing the brunt of your commute. The results can be distressing: dings in your grille detail, chipping of your paint layers, and evil scratches. Not only are they unsightly, these damage marks also invite rust underneath your paint.

Get him some warm clothes to wear

August 5th, 2010 Posted 4:09 am

Many of the larger short haired breeds such as the Bulldog, Boxer, Dalmatian and Great Dane appreciate a sweater in cold weather. However, most of the dogs we have as pets in our homes are from the medium to smaller dog breeds. These dogs, because of their smaller body mass and typically thinner coats, can get cold very quickly. Their extremities, being smaller, have a greater chance of being damaged by the cold than do the larger breeds. Small and toy dogs have an extremely hard time maintaining and retaining their body heat. At worst frigid air, snow or slush can cause your dog to get frost bite and at best it will certainly make her him not want to go outdoors for exercise, walks and toileting.

Now, more than ever, politics are entering the realm of fashion. Blatantly political phrases and slogans are becoming more prevalent on the backs of the public than the bumpers of cars. There are even items of clothing that advertise specific candidates or political parties and were actually purchased by someone, somewhere (not obtained as a door prize at a party fundraiser). But what options exist for those who like a little subtlety with their agenda? Enter the merger of socially conscious art and clothing. Less politically charged and infinitely more fashionable, boutique clothiers have created garments that are the realization of the finite balance between the message and the medium. Using art as the instrument of exchange and clothing as the canvas, these pioneers of significancy are providing people with a method of expressing themselves both in figure and in fact. What better way for entrepreneurs to meet the demands of a public that is focused on reflecting a belief in both style and substance.

If you live in the Snow Belt, do your dog a favor - get him some warm clothes to wear. He’ll be happier for it and you’ll have peace of mind that your dog is safe and comfortable.
